Welcome to PRNTCODE. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website (www.prntcode.com) and the purchase of products from us. Our website is built and hosted on the Shopify e-commerce platform (Shopify Inc., Ottawa, Canada). By visiting our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by Shopify's Terms of Service (https://www.shopify.com/legal/terms).

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our website constitutes your acceptance of any changes.

3. E-Commerce Platform — Shopify

Our website is powered by Shopify Inc. By using our website:

  • You acknowledge that Shopify hosts our store and processes certain technical and payment data on our behalf.
  • Shopify is subject to its own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (https://www.shopify.com/legal/terms).
  • We are not responsible for downtime or service interruptions caused by Shopify's platform.
  • Payment processing is handled by Stripe, subject to Stripe's own terms (https://stripe.com/legal/ssa).

4. Eligibility

By using our website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian), you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts under UAE law, and you will use our services only for lawful purposes.

5. Products & Services

5.1 Product Categories

We offer two categories of products:

  • Standard Products: Ready-made items available for immediate purchase and dispatch.
  • Custom / Made-to-Order Products: Items produced based on specific customer requirements. This includes providing measurements for sizing purposes, or requesting that an existing PRNTCODE print be applied to a product not currently available on our website. We do not offer fully custom or original print design services.

5.2 Product Descriptions

We make every effort to accurately describe our products on our Shopify store. However:

  • On-screen colours may vary due to monitor calibration and cannot be guaranteed to exactly match the physical product.
  • Dimensions are approximate unless otherwise stated.
  • We reserve the right to correct errors in product descriptions without prior notice.

5.3 Custom / Made-to-Order Orders

For custom and made-to-order products:

  • You are responsible for providing accurate measurements or product specifications at the time of ordering.
  • A digital proof or order confirmation will be provided for your review and approval before production begins.
  • Once the proof is approved and production has commenced, the order cannot be cancelled or modified without incurring additional charges (see Return & Refund Policy).
  • PRNTCODE is not liable for defects or errors resulting from incorrect information provided by the customer.

6. Pricing & Payment

Product prices are displayed in the local currency of the customer's location, determined at checkout based on the shipping destination. Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes where required by law.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time of purchase.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. PRNTCODE does not store full payment card details. In the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel and refund the order and will notify you before doing so.

7. Order Fulfilment & Contract Formation

By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase selected products at the stated price. A binding contract is formed when you receive an order confirmation from us.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where a product is unavailable, a pricing error has occurred, or fraudulent activity is suspected.

Fulfilment timelines:

  • Standard products: fulfilled within 1–7 business days of order confirmation.
  • Custom / made-to-order products: production timelines are specified on the product page or communicated at time of ordering, and begin only after full payment is received and the digital proof is approved.

8. Delivery & Shipping

We deliver within the UAE and internationally where listed at checkout. Estimated delivery times are indicative only and may vary due to carrier delays, customs clearance, or circumstances beyond our control.

  • Risk of loss and ownership passes to you upon delivery to the provided address.
  • PRNTCODE is not responsible for delays caused by third-party carriers, customs authorities, or force majeure events.
  • For incorrect or undeliverable addresses provided by the customer, re-delivery fees may apply.

9. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Returns, refunds, and exchanges are governed by our Return & Refund Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference. In summary:

  • Standard products may be returned within 14 days, unused and in original packaging.
  • Custom / made-to-order products are non-returnable unless defective, damaged, or materially different from the approved order.
  • Your statutory rights under UAE Consumer Protection Law are not affected by these Terms.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website — including text, images, logos, product designs, and software — is owned by PRNTCODE or our licensors and is protected under UAE intellectual property law.

You may not reproduce, copy, or commercially use any content without our prior written consent.

For custom orders, you confirm that any specifications, measurements, or references you provide do not infringe third-party intellectual property rights, and you grant us a limited licence to use this information solely for producing your order.

11. User Obligations

When using our website, you agree not to:

  • Submit unlawful, offensive, defamatory, or infringing content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our store, systems, or another user's account
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers on our website
  • Use our website for fraudulent, illegal, or harmful purposes

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, PRNTCODE's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the value of the relevant order.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, Shopify or Stripe platform downtime or errors outside our control, delays caused by third-party carriers or force majeure, or errors in customer-submitted specifications for custom orders.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, personal injury caused by our negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UAE law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold PRNTCODE, its directors, employees, and partners harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our website, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

14. Third-Party Services & Links

Our website may link to third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party websites or applications. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms.

15. Privacy & Data

The collection and use of your personal data — including data processed by Shopify, Stripe, and our advertising platforms — is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference.

16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, specifically the laws of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Any dispute shall first be referred to our support team for resolution. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Abu Dhabi (Abu Dhabi Court of First Instance).

17. Force Majeure

PRNTCODE shall not be liable for any delay or failure resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, pandemics, labour disputes, supply chain disruptions, or Shopify platform outages.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Return & Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PRNTCODE and supersede all prior communications. If any provision is found unenforceable under UAE law, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
